Lensmen Technologies: A Cloud Hosting Platform

View Repository on GitHubLive Website / Demo

Project Overview

Lensmen Technologies needed a web platform that communicated reliability and technical competence. Cloud hosting is a trust-driven business — customers need to feel confident their data and applications are in good hands.

Tech Stack

  • JavaScript — interactive pricing calculator and service comparisons
  • HTML/CSS — clean, professional layout with a tech-forward aesthetic
  • Responsive Design — works across desktop, tablet, and mobile

Key Sections

Service Tiers

A three-column pricing table comparing shared hosting, VPS, and dedicated server plans. Each tier highlights specs (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth) with clear CTAs.

Uptime Dashboard

A visual representation of historical uptime data — animated percentage counters and status indicators that reinforce the "99.9% uptime guarantee" claim.

Infrastructure Map

An interactive map showing data center locations, with hover states revealing specs for each facility.

Knowledge Base

A searchable FAQ section covering common hosting questions — DNS setup, SSL certificates, email configuration, and server management basics.

Design Decisions

Trust Signals

Cloud hosting is competitive. I incorporated trust-building elements throughout:

  • Customer testimonials with company logos
  • Security certifications and badges
  • Transparent pricing (no hidden fees)
  • Live chat widget for instant support

Dark Theme

Tech companies often lean toward dark interfaces — they feel professional and reduce eye strain for users who spend hours in dashboards. I used a deep navy palette with bright accent colors for CTAs.

What I Learned

Designing for a B2B audience is fundamentally different from B2C. Enterprise buyers care about specifications, SLAs, and support — not flashy animations. Every design element needed to justify its existence with a clear business purpose.
